Besides Golf
Social Activities! Members of the Vale de Milho golf club do organise from time to time after-golf get-togethers. So is there the monthly medal competition, usually followed by a joint dinner with prize givings.
These prizes are often unique and 'sponsored' by by a competition sponsor. People interested to sponsor an event can do this via the Captain.
Other than Golf-events of different sorts, there are also activities organised by different members for things like: Charities, Bowls, Cards, Theatre, Trips, Outings, etc. Besides publishing these from time to time on the home page of this website, these will always be posted on the clubhouse board and announced by the Captain.
Every member is automatically a "volunteer reporter" and pictures with the stories are collected and posted here on the website for all to enjoy or just to re-live the event.
We rely on contributions.... and Barbara, Maz, Jim, Claudine and others have submitted stories and pictures for all of us to remember and/or re-live the events.

The webmaster usually keeps pictures for a
maximum of one year and then they will be removed
and replaced by those of current events.
Nothing is as "sympatico" as sharing
pictures or
movies you
take, so do not hesitate to pass your memory
stick, or your cd, or your "digital vault" filled
with pictures to the Captain for publishing!
TIP:
Still pictures can
often be clicked and the resulting large picture
can be saved through your browser (sometimes a
menu option, sometimes control-click the picture)
to save it as a picture (.jpg) file. This may not
be so in automatic slide shows.
